State Senator Claire Wilson to speak at NPI’s 2020 Virtual Gala tomorrow evening

We are now less than twenty-four hours away from our twelfth Spring Fundraising Gala, taking place exclusively online due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. We’ve worked hard to put a great speaking program together, and we hope you can join us for an uplifting evening of progressive activism.

Previously, we announced that State Senator Manka Dhingra would be our Master of Ceremonies and that Redmond City Councilmember Varisha Khan and State Superintendent Chris Reykdal would be among our featured speakers.

Tonight, we’re pleased to announce that State Senator Claire Wilson (D‑30th District: Federal Way) will be joining us as well.

First elected in 2018, Senator Wilson has been a dependable champion for progressive causes as the 30th District’s voice in the State Senate.

She prime sponsored Superintendent Reykdal’s comprehensive sexual health education bill, a major 2020 NPI legislative priority, which was recently signed into law by Governor Jay Inslee. She has also developed legislation to improve access to childcare and prohibit the solitary confinement of youths while in jail.

Because of Senator Wilson’s work, Washington’s young people are safer and have better access to information needed to make healthy decisions.

We are deeply appreciative of Senator Wilson’s great work and we’re looking forward to hearing her perspective on the recently concluded legislative session tomorrow evening. We invite you to join us online as we hold our annual Spring Fundraising Gala for the twelfth time, in a brand new incarnation.

Get tickets for NPI’s 2020 Spring Gala (and FallFest!)

If you have not yet purchased a ticket to the gala, you can either buy a Virtual Gala Access Pass for $25/person, or you can buy combined tickets to the Virtual Gala and FallFest for $100 (Individual) or $150 (Household). The choice is yours.

You’ll save $25 on admission to both events by purchasing an Individual Ticket and save $50 or more on admission by purchasing a Household ticket.

Please note that the Virtual Gala will not be publicly livestreamed. To participate, you must either have a Virtual Gala Access Pass or a Gala/FallFest ticket. All proceeds from the Virtual Gala and FallFest will benefit the Northwest Progressive Institute’s essential research and advocacy.

If you have questions, please use our contact form to get in touch.

Thanks for your support of NPI’s work, it’s deeply appreciated.

We hope to see you — virtually! — tomorrow night.
