Last Week In Congress: How Cascadia’s U.S. lawmakers voted (November 1st-5th)

The week’s major votes includ­ed House pas­sage of the Pro­tect Old­er Job Appli­cants Act and des­ig­na­tions of land for sev­er­al tribes and Sen­ate con­fir­ma­tion of sev­er­al Biden nom­i­nees. The Sen­ate also con­sid­ered the John R. Lewis Vot­ing Rights Advance­ment Act, but it did not advance due to Repub­li­can opposition.

The week’s major votes includ­ed House and Sen­ate pas­sage of Extend­ing Gov­ern­ment Fund­ing and Deliv­er­ing Emer­gency Assis­tance Act, a stop­gap fed­er­al gov­ern­ment fund­ing bill, plus House pas­sage of the Wom­en’s Health Pro­tec­tion Act and Sen­ate con­fir­ma­tion of sev­er­al Biden nominees.
