Welcome to In Brief, the Northwest Progressive Institute’s new microblog of world, national, and local politics.
The purpose of Brief is to help us share what we’re reading, bookmarking, and thinking about on a daily basis. If a blog is comparable to a regularly published newspaper column, microblogs (also known as linksblogs or sideblogs) are comparable to the What’s News summary on the front page of the Wall Street Journal, or comparable features in other newspapers.
Our microblog’s debut comes two weeks shy of the five year blogoversary of the NPI Advocate, In Brief’s older sibling, which was founded March 29th, 2004.
