Ross says we need to solve our big structural issues like SR 520. We have made progress on viaduct replacement. Have to look at coordination of transit between Sound Transit and Metro. Have to syncronize a system that actually works. Have to get past not in my backyard issues.
Dow says we need to focus on building a transportation system which will create better communities. Get light rail to create sustainable communities. The time is not right to merge transit systems across region.
Larry says we need to give people choices for transportation. Expand light rail. Improve regional trail system. As long as we stay the course we will have choices. We need transit agencies to realize their potential as creating quality urban environements.
Fred says we have made good progress. Get transit and rail in progress. Right now he claims we are doing fairly well. Our problems are getting seamless transportation. There is a lot more that can be done to make investments that are performance, not politicly, oriented.
