Next week, it will have already been a month since the 2024 Washington State Legislature adjourned Sine Die (meaning, with no expectation of returning). Governor Jay Inslee has finished working through all of the legislation that lawmakers sent him, even the budgets, bringing an end to bill signing season. Though many legislators have now shifted into campaign mode, a number are offering a few post-session town hall or community chat opportunities. Here’s a guide to the ones that we know about.

Why: To provide constituents an update on the legislative session and answer their questions.
Representatives Bill Ramos, D‑Issaquah, and Lisa Callan, D‑Issaquah, (5th Legislative District), represent portions of eastern and southern King County, including Issaquah, Snoqualmie, Black Diamond, Carnation, and North Bend, Maple Valley, and part of Renton.

During these gatherings, we will update you on the initiatives and what could happen going forward. We will also recap some of the highlights of the state’s three supplemental budgets and the impact these spending plans will have on families and communities throughout our district. Additionally, we’ll discuss some of the good and bad legislation that passed and some that didn’t.
