Tim Eyman will apparently spend Election Night 2015 in Seattle… at a Krispy Kreme

In an email sent to reporters with­in the last hour, Tim Eyman has announced that he will be ven­tur­ing out into pub­lic for a very brief Elec­tion Night par­ty, to be held at a north Seat­tle Krispy Kreme, on Auro­ra Avenue.

Accord­ing to the mes­sage sent by Eyman, the par­ty (if it can be called that… maybe Eyman sight­ing would be more accu­rate) will begin at 8:50 PM and con­clude twen­ty-five min­utes lat­er, at 9:15 PM.

Eyman sug­gest­ed that he might buy donuts for any reporters who showed up, but did not make a defin­i­tive promise.

The north Seat­tle Krispy Kreme Eyman intends to make an appear­ance at is across the street from the elec­tion night par­ty being orga­nized by Eyman bene­fac­tor Faye Gar­neau, who financed the oppo­si­tion to Let’s Move Seat­tle (Propo­si­tion #1).

Is that a coin­ci­dence? We think not.

Evi­dent­ly, Eyman plans on pay­ing a vis­it to Gar­neau tonight, prob­a­bly before he shows up at the Krispy Kreme to com­ment on the results.

Last month, after the Pub­lic Dis­clo­sure Com­mis­sion vot­ed to refer its inves­ti­ga­tion into Eyman’s vio­la­tion of pub­lic dis­clo­sure laws to Attor­ney Gen­er­al Bob Fer­gu­son, Gar­neau pub­licly defend­ed Eyman, telling The Seat­tle Times’ Dan­ny West­neat, It’s no big deal! Every­body else is mak­ing mon­ey off pol­i­tics. Why not him, too?”
