Senator Joe Biden to headline rally in Tacoma this Sunday
The Obama campaign has just announced that Senator Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential nominee and Barack's running mate, will hold a Change We Need Rally this Sunday at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. Biden will focus on the campaign's plan to improve economic security for American families.
The doors will open at noon and the program is scheduled to begin at 2 PM. Arrive early in the morning if you want to avoid what will likely be long lines.

Also, please note that signs and banners are prohibited (for security reasons). Leave all bags and backpacks at home. The campaign asks that you limit personal items. Best advice? Anyone have suggestions as to when to arrive to secure a seat? The last time I saw Biden speak was in an empty Senate committee hearing... Something tells me he'll draw a bit more of a crowd this Sunday.
i plan on getting there around 8 am (maybe earlier), mostly just to find a parking space within a reasonable distance from the stadium.
the upside is that the weather is supposed to be nice -- meaning no rain
Wonder if they will have concessions open - will be a long time w/o food if we arrive at 9:30 as we are planning.
