Sorry, Republicans: Donald Sterling is one of yours

Mother Jones confirms that Los Angeles Clippers owner and real estate mogul Donald Sterling, whose allegedly racist comments have roiled the NBA, is registered to vote as a Republican in Los Angeles County. Several right wing websites have claimed Sterling is a Democrat because he gave some money to Democratic candidates in the early 1990s. But it turns out he identifies as a Republican.
