Republican Congressman Michael Grimm indicted for mail fraud and perjury
The Republican who represents Staten Island in the United States House of Representatives has been indicted on with twenty counts of mail fraud and perjury. He surrendered to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he used to work, this morning. The hot-tempered Grimm claims he is innocent and won’t resign. Moreover, he intends to run for reelection. Democrats have their eye on the seat and hope to turn it from red to blue.
