Many unprepared as digital TV switchover begins
The New York Times reports that despite nearly two years of warning and a four month delay, many Americans (especially seniors and low income citizens) are still unaware that television stations nationwide will no be longer broadcasting in analog after today. The switch to digital causes old televisions to stop working unless they are connected to a digital converter box.
