Oops: Romney “transition” website accidentally goes live for a few minutes
Mitt Romney’s team was so enthusiastic about the idea of him becoming president that they had already prepared a website for the “President-elect” to serve as the digital home of his transition team. The site accidentally went live earlier this week. It was taken down quickly, but Taegan Goddard has captured some of its pages for posterity. Taegan’s favorite part? The notice which informs potential appointees “The financial holdings and sources of income for most applicants… must be disclosed for review for possible conflicts of interest.”
