Obama scraps plans for hasty unfair trade agreement with Panama
Via the Campaign for America’s Future, Bloomberg is reporting that President Barack Obama has decided not to submit a trade pact with Panama to Congress until the administration comes up with a new “framework” for trade. The AFL-CIO and progressive Democrats in the House of Representatives had earlier told Democratic congressional leadership they would oppose approval of the pact.
