House puts ‘poison pill’ in plan to rewrite I-937’s energy standards
Via Pacific NW Portal, The Olympian’s Brad Shannon reports that some House Democrats teamed up with Republicans earlier tonight to throw a monkey wrench into Senator Brown and Senator Marr’s attempt to weaken Initiative 937, the renewable energy standards initiative passed by voters in 2006. The final bill passed the House basically does away with I-937 altogether, apparently, which the Senate may find unacceptable…
