Trump is back. Expect a sum­mer full of ral­lies, camp fol­low­ers spout­ing Q‑Anon non­sense, and Trump leav­ing the stage to ova­tions that would send Hitler to bed happy.

Thank­ful­ly, the law­suits have failed, the Elec­toral Col­lege has vot­ed, and its votes count­ed by Con­gress. Democ­ra­cy has pre­vailed, and the can­di­dates cho­sen by the peo­ple of the Unit­ed States have been prop­er­ly acknowl­edged as the win­ners of the election

McMor­ris Rodgers will have the dis­tinc­tion of being the only Repub­li­can from Wash­ing­ton State to par­tic­i­pate in the plot, as the state’s oth­er two Repub­li­cans have announced they will not be object­ing to the elec­tion results.

Their ulti­mate goal is to cre­ate a mech­a­nism for chang­ing enough Elec­toral Col­lege votes to keep Trump in office. Nev­er mind what the vot­ers said and did.
