Gawker Media employees vote to unionize, and the bosses approve
Employees at digital publishing outfit Gawker Media have voted to unionize, with eighty of one hundred and eighteen eligible workers casting ballots in favor. In an unusual twist, company executives reacted favorably to the unionization push. Gawker employees will now negotiate a contract with management.
