Hardly a day goes by when Pope Francis fails to remind us that he truly is the people’s pope. In this video, the Holy Father (Papa Francesco in Italian) can be seen stopping his motorcade and getting out to bless a young disabled woman whose family had transported her to the side of the road in the hope of receiving a blessing. After seeing their signs, the Pope obliged them, first blessing the young woman (Roberta) and then warmly greeting the family and friends waiting with her.
