Jan Brewer inundated with calls to veto anti-LGBT bill
Pressure is mounting on Arizona’s Republican governor, Jan Brewer, to veto Senate Bill 1062, which would legalize discriminate against LGBT individuals under the pretense of religious liberty. A loud chorus of voices spanning the political spectrum ar urging Brewer to kill the bill, including Senators John McCain and Jeff Flake, along with Arizona Democrats and a number of businesses, including several that are looking at relocating to Arizona. Even three of the Republican state senators who voted for SB 1062 have recanted and are now backing a veto.
