Haunting photos of abandoned 1984 Winter Olympics facilities
A collection of photos collected by Viral Forest show the pathetic condition that Sarajevo’s Olympic facilities are in. The city hosted the Winter Olympics thirty years ago, in 1984, a decade before the Balkans were torn apart by a bitter conflict. Today, the city’s Olympic park is a ruin that looks like a set of relics from a past civilization.
