Which house is more efficient?

The Tacoma News Tribune’s Joe Turner reports that the Washington State Senate so far has passed two hundred and eighty nine of the House’s bills. The House, however, has only passed two hundred and fifty four of the Senate’s.

That means that the House, whose leadership has greater control over the chamber and the rules for debate, has been less productive.

A total of five hundred and forty three bills are still alive. Two of those bills are Northwest Progressive Institute legislative priorities.
