Each year, as part of our research program, we conduct a major research poll to gauge how people in our region feel about progressive ideas that could improve our quality of life. Last year, we asked Washington voters how they feel about a capital gains tax, paid vacation leave, and a cap and trade system. The answers were very encouraging. This year, we’re going to be testing support for even more progressive ideas.
