Join us for our Spring Fundraising Gala on April 26th

What: A special event to benefit the work of the Northwest Progressive Institute
When: Friday, April 26th, 2019 | Reception starts at 5:30 PM, main program at 7 PM
Where: Renton Community Center (1715 SE Maple Valley Highway, Renton, WA 98057-3900)
Who: The NPI team, Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz, author and strategist Mike Lux, Burien Mayor Jimmy Matta, and Master of Ceremonies Lindsay Church

Refreshments: This year’s dinner buffet will consist of dishes prepared by Sherehe Kenya Kitchen, a woman/minority owned small business. Owner Lucy Kamau started Sherehe Kenya Kitchen two years ago and makes delicious food from scratch with all natural ingredients, including ingredients she orders from Kenya. You can watch a short video about Lucy’s business here.

Beer and wine will be available from our cash bar.

NPI’s Spring Fundraising Gala is a zero waste event. Expect to be asked to separate your reusable cutlery from your plate when you visit the composting station after your meal. Additionally, we’ll ask you to give your nametag back to us at the door so it can be reused at future NPI events.

Getting there: The Renton Community Center is conveniently located off of Interstate 405 (SE Maple Valley Highway exit) in Renton. There are also several Metro bus stops in the vicinity of the center.
