Chicago mother grieving after losing her fourth and last living child to gun violence

Imagine being a parent and losing all four of your children to gun violence in a series of deadly shootings over two decades. That is the horrifying fate that has befallen Chicago mother Shirley Chambers, whose four children were each killed with guns. She lost her only daughter and one son in 1995, another son in 2000, and her third son just last Saturday. Melissa MacEwan has more on this at Shakesville.
